 The future discussed not only in class but around the world is constantly evolving throughout time. Exponentially speaking, it is evolving at such a rapid pace that we may have many technological advancements in roughly around 10 years. Trying to see into the future, many of its' characteristics boast both wonderful things for humanity. However not everything is great, as there are also horrible things that can come out of the future. To start off with this topic, something that I have in mind that may seem grim for us in the future is AI. I do not believe that it will take over the world like in many other science fiction movies, books and TV Shows. Due to such technological advancements however, it's use throughout the world can pose as a problem. Deepfakes for example, can be used with ill intent and to harm individuals' reputation, status and career.  For this blog, the Virtual Scavenger Hunt consisted of using different website URL's and having your own work by trying to search up key terms in order to fulfill the objective given on the worksheet. Throughout this process, most of what you had to do ranged from easy searches such as finding three different websites that were specific online dating sites, to finding a specific name of someone who is related to another person in the class. Throughout this, I did not have a hard time finding many of the URL's needed for each question. It was relatively easy to find out and pinpoint which ones needed to go where. However, some were a bit more difficult to find out and to try and get. The questions that were provided were a little too specific. Although it is definitely possible to find out the answers to some of these questions, it would also take a while to find the exact answer since you would need to go through many other different websites to find it.  One thing that I would not buy online would be cars. Although there are websites that show cars that are available online and would make accessibility much more convenient for some, I just do not trust other dealers that have cars for sale, especially at a price that seems too good to be true. Being able to present a photo that may or may not be accurate to what the thing truly represents is way too easy to do, and the verification process for it is little to nonexistent. For all I know, a car could have missing pieces to it such as the steering wheel, the mirrors, some chairs, or even no car at all.  Another thing I would not buy online is prescription medication. There is a reason you should go to a doctor in order to get your medication. The doctor provides legitimate places and products for you to take and to have without any problems. Having myself buy products online without knowing what could be on it can be terrifying. You never know if the product is legit or laced by someone

 My thoughts on AI would be on the good side, however I do believe that we should not gloss over the possibilities of how AI can negatively impact us. For the good side, I believe that AI can be beneficial for humanity because it can pretty much automate a lot of what people usually do. The era of automation is starting already, as there are stores that do not have a single employee in it and are completely digital. The only thing that a person might do in the store is check for maintenance to ensure that the orders are going through or if the security cameras are working as they should be. AI can also uncover footage that could be seen as too low quality. For example, there have been YouTube videos that are quite low resolution, such as 144p. At that quality, the viewer would just see a bunch of pixels and blur. It would be difficult for someone to process something very defined such as words or text as the pixels and blur would be troublesome to comprehend through. However with the p

 I was in class and heard about Erik Hanberg's presentation on how technology has affected him as not only an author but being a part of many other things such as having a podcast and being able to publish his own books and novel's. He is also considered to be a sort of businessman in a sense as to how his sales could be reviewed. I have also asked him what a balance of being an author feels like. There was an analogy that he described with him being in a cave and also trying to be outside of the cave, which meant that he had to be in the cave and work on his books in order for them to actually be read and sold potentially, but also mix in the business side of things. Because of how accessible technology is, Erik Hanberg figured out that you really can't be too radical on each side as it will either burn you out as a person if you work too much on creating novels and not marketing or create an audience too big with little content to digest which could also mean less sales i

Reflecting off of the documentary of Startup.com from 2001, the documentary was mainly about the rise and fall of govworks.com. There were three people that mainly started off with the company, mainly Kaleil Tuzman and Tom Herman, however there was another person that worked there that also played a part in the company . During the beginning of the documentary, both Kaleil Tuzman and Tom Herman were in the midst of brainstorming what their company would be called and how it would be operated. They were wondering between a couple of names but eventually they would stick with the name govworks. They started off pretty small but overtime they would grow their employees more and more. However, they also didn't start off with the knowledge of coding and creating a structure for their business. They only provided more of the business side of things for their website which would be a big cause for their downfall. Their main problem would be that they would prioritize the capitalization an
